How Making Charges Are Usually Calculated
Flat percentage of metal value — common for simple machine-crafted items like chains, hoops, and basic bangles. The charge is pegged to the daily gold price of the piece's net weight.
Fixed rate per gram — standard for hand-finished or customized work. This method helps maintain a flat labor cost regardless of any gold price fluctuations.
Complexity, intricate details, and micro-prongs settings will raise the craftsmanship effort, thereby reflecting a higher percentage tier.
